The SBS-Enterprise Data Collection Suite™ is a Smart Client solution with Rapid Application Development Tools [SBS-CASE Tools-Enterprise™], an Enterprise Transaction Server [SBS-Pathfinder™] and the necessary resources to build your data collection system. The Suite also contains SBS-LogExplorer™ (for viewing log files) plus all client driver files and terminal services to team up with many different data collection vendors (ex. Honeywell, Zebra, Microsoft and Janam) supporting both portable and fixed station terminals. SBS-Pathfinder™ is configured with numerous front-end Communication Modules to support TCP/IP for Ethernet wired or wireless communications, Serial for RS-232 batch communications and ActiveSync for TCP/IP batch communications. SBS-Pathfinder™ also contains four resources (ODBC, Host Socket, Tool Kit, and Label Print) for allowing communications to back-end servers or legacy platforms. Each resource type can contain up to 9 different occurrences with each occurrence handling up to 8 concurrent processes (agents).

- The Label Print Resource operates with label printing software products by: Loftware, TEKLYNX and Seagull. Other Product connections may become available in the future.
- The SBS-Enterprise Data Collection Suite seat license is discounted based on the number of seats purchased. The first year support agreement cost is bundled into the seat license cost.
- Clients who purchase the annual Product Software Support Agreement are entitled to FREE software updates and bug fixes during the term of their agreement. Support agreements are renewable to ensure continued software updates and fixes. Multiple year agreements are available. Contact your sales representative for more details.
